An irresistible je-ne-sais-quoi

Summer may be over and tan fading away, but rosé season is still going on! In 2018, a new brand called Sunny Bay will make you see life through rosé-colored lenses, whether it is pumpkin spice latte season or not! Launched by the French artist Camille Ducellier, this premium Côtes de Provence has an irresistible je-ne-sais-quoi, confirming the saying: when in doubt, opt for the French way…

SUNNY BAY

A state of mind

Sunny Bay suits an aspirational lifestyle, every sip recalling summer stories made of intensely blue skies, impromptu weeknight dancing, picnic on the beach, or blissful lunches on a terrace flavored with fresh local vegetables…
But who needs the beating sun of August when we can experience the warmth and joy of sharing a glass of Sunny Bay with your loved ones, even on a chilly day in January? This is what Camille Ducellier pledges to offer: an authentic wine to accompany precious moments of conviviality! Sunny Bay will become a drink of choice to pair with everything from an aperitif to a gourmet meal, Provençal cuisine to spicy dishes, family dinner to special occasion, and so on, year-round.

COTE DE PROVENCE

The cradle of French Rosé

Sunny Bay originates from the sun-kissed and idyllic Provence area in the South of France, where rosé wine is produced by dedicated winemakers that have developed deep-rooted and time-honored savoir faire since 600 BC. The vines benefit from the unique features of this incomparable region: exceptional exposure to sunlight, strong winds purifying the well-drained soils, and fragrant and luscious meadows coated with lavender, thyme, and rosemary. This “gold standard region” has been the focus of Camille Ducellier for the past 5 years. Having crossed the path of outstanding rosé producers among the DIVA Network, she has sourced grapes from the best winegrowers for her new wine Sunny Bay.

TASTING NOTES

Visual aspect: Crystalline, pure pink color.
Nose: An elegant nose with refreshing aromas of citrus and rose petal.
Palate: After a clean attack, the full-bodied midpalate is perfectly round and fruity, while the finish lingers with citrus notes.

SUNNY BAY’s FIRST LADY

It is not a surprise to find Camille Ducellier playing the starring role in this release: she radiates a typical joie de vivre, and an effortless cool attitude that make you want to share a bottle of rosé with her. As the daughter of a winemaker who grew up in a small village in the South of France, her enthusiasm for wine has never waned, even when she moved to Paris to pursue an acting career. In the midst of the Parisian cultural sphere, she has remained close to her roots, and passionate about good wine and good food. Through the years, her beloved Provence has been an eternal source of inspiration. Back in her home country after a business experience in New York, she was far from expecting that her love for wine would end up by creating her own! Yet, there she is, releasing Sunny Bay in 2018, combining her admiration for winemaking in Provence and the French lifestyle. The young entrepreneur is now all set to take the wine world by storm!
